Write for Tax Simplified

Join a network of practising CPAs, tax lawyers, and financial professionals sharing their expertise with Canadians who need it most — written once, read for years.

Why contribute?

Tax Simplified reaches tens of thousands of Canadian taxpayers and tax professionals each month — individuals trying to understand their T1, small business owners navigating GST/HST, and practitioners looking for quick reference material they can trust. When you write for Tax Simplified, your article becomes a permanent part of that resource.

Build your professional profile online. Search visibility matters for professionals in private practice. An article on Tax Simplified with your name, credentials, and a link to your profile puts you in front of exactly the audience you want to reach: Canadians who are actively thinking about tax and looking for a qualified professional to help them.

Articles earn readers for years. Unlike social media posts, a well-written tax article has a long shelf life. Tax rules change gradually, and an article you write today may bring you readers — and referrals — for three to five years. Our editorial team updates figures and rates annually, so your work stays accurate without additional effort on your part.

You write. We handle the rest. Our editorial team handles formatting, technical SEO, internal linking, and the annual rate update cycle. Your job is to share your expertise clearly and accurately. We turn it into a polished, well-optimized article that reflects well on you and genuinely helps Canadians.

Help Canadians make better tax decisions. Canadian tax information is scattered, outdated, and difficult to navigate. CRA.ca is authoritative but hard to use. Professional tax advice is expensive and inaccessible to many. Tax Simplified exists to bridge that gap — and our contributors are the reason it works. If you believe that better-informed Canadians make better financial decisions, this is how you contribute to that.

Establish thought leadership in your specialty. Whether you specialize in farm tax, cross-border planning, or charitable giving, a body of work on Tax Simplified establishes you as a go-to voice in your niche. Our contributor profiles are linked from every article you publish and are indexed by Google, LinkedIn, and other professional discovery platforms.
